This may have been my favorite part of our journey. SF has SO much art EVERYWHERE, the best organic farmer's market we've ever experienced and it's bursting with color at every block on every hill. It was difficult to take a bad picture here. We stayed right in the heart of the Mission District, a raw, artsy neighborhood with a wall mural on just about every building. Almost every neighborhood we ended up at was carefully selected by the queen of SF herself, Victoria Smith. Her book, "See San Francisco", conveniently released a month before the trip and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting SF. San Francisco was everything we had expected it to be but being able to live in it was such a treat that we are forever grateful for.
